What Is EMSELLA?
EMSELLA is a state-of-the-art, noninvasive treatment designed to combat urinary incontinence and improve the sexual health of women and men by strengthening the pelvic muscles. The EMSELLA chair uses electromagnetic energy to stimulate the muscles far beyond what you might achieve in a normal pelvic workout, making it an ideal solution for individuals struggling with urinary leakage, diminished sexual sensations, erectile dysfunction, and more. If you struggle with intimate concerns or urinary incontinence and live in the Milton, GA area, you are not alone. Reach out to schedule a consultation with Dr. Jimenez at First Body, and discover how EMSELLA can help you take back your confidence and enjoy a better quality of life.
What Are the Benefits of EMSELLA?

Am I A Candidate for EMSELLA?
Determining if you are a suitable candidate for EMSELLA at First Body involves assessing your specific concerns related to urinary incontinence or sexual health. EMSELLA is an excellent option for both women and men who experience urinary leakage, diminished sexual sensations, or erectile dysfunction. The treatment is particularly beneficial for those seeking a noninvasive solution to strengthen pelvic muscles significantly. A consultation with Dr. Jimenez is the best way to understand how EMSELLA can assist in regaining your confidence and improving your quality of life.
How Do EMSELLA Treatments Work?
Perhaps the best thing about EMSELLA is how easy the treatments are. After you arrive for your appointment, you'll simply sit down in our office's EMSELLA chair — fully clothed and comfortable — and relax as the device works out your pelvic muscles. Over the next half hour, the chair will contract your muscles thousands of times over as you rest. Many of our clients at First Body take advantage of their "me time" to read or catch up on their favorite TV shows. However you choose to pass the time, after 30 minutes, you'll feel invigorated and ready to get back to your day — no recovery required.
What to Expect After EMSELLA
Patients can expect to feel noticeable results after their first session with EMSELLA, with continued improvement as they complete the series of recommended treatments. Some experience mild muscle soreness or contractions in the treated areas, but this is normal and usually subsides within a few hours. As there is no downtime required, patients at First Body can resume their daily activities immediately afterward. However, it is best to wait 24 hours before participating in strenuous physical activities or exercise. Our Milton, GA team can provide specific post-treatment instructions, and we encourage patients to maintain a healthy lifestyle to optimize their EMSELLA results.

42 Year Old Wants to Stop Bladder Leakage Without Surgery - I am 42 5’8 143lbs. I Exercise 4-5 days a week, I do a lot of yoga and have progressively experienced more bladder leakage with age. I was scheduled for a sling surgery years ago but I didn’t end up going through with it. I did Vagina resurfacing 6-7 years ago and it helped but recently it started getting worse. I was in Las Vegas and noticed I was leaking just walking around. I emailed Ashley at First Body on a Sunday and she responded and set me up for an Appt on Tuesday morning. I paid for it with my FSA card, Dr Jimenez wrote me a script for the treatment of incontinence and they accepted it and paid the claim. I’ve had 2 treatments so far (I have 4 more scheduled in the next 2 weeks) I already have noticed a big difference. I did a ton of jumping jacks and burpees on Monday with no leakage for the first time in years! I will report back at the end of the 6 sessions.

Can men benefit from EMSELLA too?
While it is primarily known for its effectiveness in treating urinary incontinence, the EMSELLA system can also help to improve erectile dysfunction symptoms in men by enhancing blood flow, strengthening pelvic floor muscles, and supporting overall sexual function.
How long does it take to see improvements in urinary incontinence with EMSELLA?
Many patients experience an improvement in urinary incontinence after just a few EMSELLA sessions. Generally, a typical treatment course involves two sessions per week for three weeks, making it a relatively quick and convenient option for addressing urinary incontinence. However, individual results may vary, and some people might notice changes earlier or later in the treatment process.
Is EMSELLA a suitable treatment option for both men and women with urinary incontinence and ED?
Yes, EMSELLA is a versatile treatment that can benefit both men and women who struggle with urinary incontinence and, in the case of men, mild erectile dysfunction. By strengthening the pelvic floor muscles and improving blood circulation in the pelvic region, EMSELLA can help alleviate symptoms of both conditions, offering a noninvasive and effective solution for a wider range of individuals.
